New singing groups for Cedar Hills kids
CEDAR HILLS — A new singing group is offering opportunities for local youngsters at the Cedar Hills Community Center this fall. Fee increases for Cedar Hills residents
CEDAR HILLS — Several new fee increases were implemented by the city council on June 19 and went into effect July 1. The city's recycling contractor Waste Management has increased its fees to the city due to a significant drop in demand from China which has historically purchased 30 percent of recyclables worldwide. New farmers market for Cedar Hills
CEDAR HILLS — City officials have approved a farmers market in Cedar Hills at Heritage Park, 4425 W Cedar Hills Drive. The market, which is being run by Sunset Farmers Markets, will be held each Wednesday evening from 5 to 9 p.m. at the park's amphitheater. It will run July 11 to Oct. 24. Cedar Hills closes door to smoke shops
CEDAR HILLS — The city council has passed an ordinance basically banning smoke shops, vape shops and retail tobacco specialty businesses from the city. Since the city's commercial area is close to Lone Peak High School and residential neighborhoods, city officials have determined it is in the "best interest of the public health, prosperity, comfort, and convenience of the City of Cedar Hills, and the residents" not to allow them into town.
